Week 3 of self-quarantining has already been a gruelling experience for us. Being confined to your homes all day can be physically and emotionally draining. Boredom can be relieved by watching a limited number of shows. In addition, your body is unable to move or exercise. Keeping fit and active is critical if you want to maintain a positive outlook during this 21-day lockdown. Lethargy and anxiety can result from a lack of physical activity, which will not help you get through this difficult time in your life. Just do a few push-ups each day and you’ll be fine.
While you’re quarantined, here are five fun ways to stay in shape!
1) Dancercise
In order to be honest, we aren’t going to say that you should work out for an hour a day every day. However, it is important to get some exercise in. Dancing around the house is a simple way to accomplish this. It’s also possible to choose from the 2345 YouTube tutorials that offer dance workouts in the form of Zumba, Belly Dancing, Hip-Hop, Bollywood, and numerous other styles. In order to enjoy that song in the house, make sure your neighbours are cool with it!
2) Spend time with your pet
Trust us when we say that your pet’s first time at home is just as exciting as yours. She has no idea why you’re home all day and want to spend so much time with her. Avoid ignoring them and engage in fun indoor activities with them instead.
3) Do some exercise by playing games
Play some games with your family during your lockdown days so that you can stay active! Play Pictionary or Charades at home with a whiteboard and a group of friends. One round of being on the losing team will get your adrenaline pumping if you are as competitive as I am!

4) Cooking should be fun
Despite the fact that cooking can be a chore, I live by the mantra that anything can be improved upon and made more enjoyable. When you spend time in the kitchen, you not only relieve stress but also create delicious home-cooked meals. Try a variety of greens, pulses, and fiber-rich recipes. Try to do everything by hand when you’re cooking with a friend. Rolling out roti dough is a great way to build muscle in your arms.
5) Involve yourself in social media contests
During the lockdown, people were able to stay in touch thanks to social media. Influencers are coming up with challenges that people can participate in and unite around in order to boost morale. Consider the 10 push-up challenge or one of the many TikTok dance challenges that have already become a social media sensation.
